The Lemoore Sand Drags crew put on the Hot Summer Nights event over the weekend of August 3-4 in Lemoore, CA. With the heat this time of year, most of the on-track action was contested in the cooler evening or morning time frames. The Saturday event went smoothly with Kyle Furgason (Pro 1 & Pro Gambler) and David Markle (MP1 & MP Gambler) taking multiple class victories. Unfortunately, technical gremlins plagued the Friday night point series event and the track went hot just for Test & Tune later in the evening. Racers that were in attendance earned sign up points, and the October 5 Season Finale will now be a double points event.
