The 2007 sand drag racing season has gotten off to a great start with some stellar NSDA events on the west coast. It never ceases to amaze me how each event the racer turnout seems to grow. This hopefully is a trend that will be seen across the country as tracks in the middle and eastern portions of the country start up for the season.

April will be a big month as a lot of the tracks in the middle states starting up for the season while things will crank up for the Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana tracks in May. 70-plus degree temperatures have gotten racers across the region antsy for race season to begin.

Anyways, this issue of NSDN features race coverage from the NSDA March event as well as racer features on Shane Sanford and Bill Swim’s race programs. We are always looking for new racers to profile in each month’s issue of NSDN, if you are interested feel free to drop me an email. As the season progresses, we hope to branch this out and feature racers across the country.

NSDN’s next daily race coverage will come from the NSDA event at Primm, NV in April. Keep an eye on the site for news and results from the coming month. Be sure to keep spreading the word about NSDN, we experienced a big spike in hits this month and hope to experience the same for months to come.

Until next month…
