Fall is upon us, and the weather is going down hill here in MI, but the sand drag racing season is hitting full swing as we head towards the final three months of 2010. So far in September, NSDN has been on-site at a couple of local events, the Winner’s Circle Weekend race at West Michigan Sand Dragway as well as the MSBA Hill Climb at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. If you have not been to the Photo of the Week/Showcase Video page yet, do navigate over there for some amazing footage from the Hill Climb. This even brings about some of the wildest shots we see all season long.
Coming up next for NSDN is another local race September 18 at WMSD again, where I will run my last race in the Jeep for the season. With a hectic summer, this will only be my fourth outing of the season, but it has been a successful year with several final round finishes. The next weekend NSDN will be at Ionia Sand Drags in
In 2010, the Pro Truck Nationals series put on a great show everywhere the series went. The Season Finale at Big River Sand Drags in August saw a massive turnout & an amazing conclusion to the season. But the PTN guys aren’t just sitting still right now. Rich and the crew are reviving the Show Me The Money race from years past, and heading to Little Sandy Raceway in
Finishing out the rest of our 2010 NSDN race coverage schedule are west coast events at Dome Valley Raceway October 23-24 as well as November 5-7 at Kingman, AZ.
