The 2011 sand drag racing season got off to a quick
start in January, however things slowed down some in February and March. NSDN
did our best to pass along any info sent to us regarding upcoming events and
also presented an excellent Nostalgia series. I have to give a huge thank you
out to everyone who has sent in material for the Nostalgia features. These pieces
have been great so far, and there is definitely plenty of material to continue
to post up as we go down the road.
As you may
have noticed, NSDN took a little break over the down time, but we are getting
ready to hit the race season in full stride. The annual month of May Daily Race
Coverage marathon is once again looming. NSDN will be on-site in Kingman, AZ May 13-15,
then on to Cleves, OH
for the PTN Season Opener May 20-21, and last but not least NSDN will present
Daily Race Coverage from the Heartland Nationals in Atoka, OK the
weekend of May 27-29. These are all looking to be great events, and I’m
definitely looking forward to this grueling stretch of coverage. It is a ton of
travel and time away from the office, but in the end it is all worth it. The
Daily Race Coverage blitz continues on in June with one weekend off after Atoka
before the second race of PTN 2011 in Grayson,
KY on June 10-11. I hope everyone
will tune in for the Daily Race Coverage & Live Updates if they cannot
attend any of these great events.
