Many El Pasoans will be competing in both the Professional and Sportsman classes such is the case with Anthony NM resident Cash Claridge, who won the Open class at the Hobbs Summer Nationals, last season.
On Friday night the track will feature a match race between two nitro burning Top Fuel Dragsters which have yet to be named. Also, former two time World Top Alcohol Dragster Champion, Richard “Big Beans” Frijole, from Phoenix Az. will be participating in the highly contested eliminator class.This event is the first National Event of the ASDA 2008 racing season with other events being held in Atoka Oklahoma, Hobbs New Mexico and the World Finals, which will be held here in El Paso the weekend of August 22nd.

11:30 sportsman eliminations Bikes and Cars sports 1 first sports 2 is second and the bikes will run third. We will then start all over in the same order until we are done.
2:00 2nd qualifying run for the TA and TE cars
3:00-4:30 pro time runs for vehicles entered in the pro classes.

12:00 first round of top alcohol and eliminator
12:20 pro eliminations
2:00 second round Top Alcohol & Top Eliminator
2:15 last rounds of pro elimination
3:30 top alcohol and top eliminator finals
General Admission is $10 for ages 12+ $5 for kids 5-11 and Free for kids under 5 years of age. A full three day pass is only $25. All tickets are available at the gate.
