National Sand Drag News - NEW National Sand Drag News (NSDN) is an online magazine covering the sport of sand drag racing. NSDN’s full array of up to the minute news and race coverage can be found online at www.NationalSandDragNews.com. Here is a brief explanation of what NSDN covers. The fast growing motor sport of sand drag racing consists of race cars that are very similar to their asphalt drag racing counterparts racing down 300 feet long (100 yard) tracks with a sand/dirt surface. The headliners of the show are the Nitro-burning Top Fuel dragsters that cross the finish line in under 2.5 seconds and reach speeds in excess of 160 MPH. Although the Top Fuel cars are the headliners of the show, multitudes of grass roots bracket racers compile the largest racer group in the sand. NSDN focuses on the hottest properties in sand drag racing, including coverage of the Pro Truck Nationals (PTN) series and other large independent events. Other large independent races across the country are also covered. NSDN covers these events with live race updates, race results, news, features, race videos, and photos. https://nsdn.us/index.php 2024-07-16T02:54:52+00:00 National Sand Drag News editor@nsdn.us Joomla! - Open Source Content Management ABSD Show Me The Money Results 2007-09-30T22:13:58+00:00 2007-09-30T22:13:58+00:00 https://nsdn.us/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=104&catid=23&Itemid=41 Administrator editor@nsdn.us Albright Shores Sand Dragway “Show Me The Money” Results

Top Fuel
1st-Troy Turnock
2nd-Nick Vanderputte

Open Show Me The Money
1st-Fred Hugo
2nd-Lee Reynders
3rd-Chuck Jewett

ATV Show Me They Money
1st-Rich Wood
2nd-Corey Hamlin
3rd-Hopper McKerran

Albright Shores Sand Dragway “Show Me The Money” Results

Top Fuel
1st-Troy Turnock
2nd-Nick Vanderputte

Open Show Me The Money
1st-Fred Hugo
2nd-Lee Reynders
3rd-Chuck Jewett

ATV Show Me They Money
1st-Rich Wood
2nd-Corey Hamlin
3rd-Hopper McKerran

NSDN Notes - September 27 2007-09-27T04:41:20+00:00 2007-09-27T04:41:20+00:00 https://nsdn.us/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=103&catid=23&Itemid=41 Administrator editor@nsdn.us As we prepare for the new issue of NSDN to be released next Tuesday there are a few notes to pass along.

- The September/October issue of Sand Sports magazine has been released and includes coverage from WMSD, NSDA, Thunder Valley, and Atoka events in my “Sand Drag Scene” column. Rich Wood was able to hang on to take the Pro Point Series title by staying ahead of hard charging second place finisher Randi Vsetula with a win at the last race of the season. Rich wasn't as fortunate in his try to take both point series titles as he went out in round one of ATV handing the Sportsman Point Series win to Tom Bray, who took home the title for the third time. Jordan Lirones won the Junior Dragster Point Series in dominating fashion for the third season in a row. Cody Turnock ended up as the Junior ATV champion. The tightest point series battle was in the Mighty Midgets category as the top three competitors were separated by just one point heading in. Leaders heading into the race John DeBoer and Kelsey Ambs both went out in round one and were passed by Joshua Rammacher, who made it to round to making Rammacher the 2007 Mighty Midget Point Series champion.
West Michigan Sand Dragway September 22 Results

The 2007 WMSD race season finished up with its point series finale on September 22.
