National Sand Drag News - NEW National Sand Drag News (NSDN) is an online magazine covering the sport of sand drag racing. NSDN’s full array of up to the minute news and race coverage can be found online at www.NationalSandDragNews.com. Here is a brief explanation of what NSDN covers. The fast growing motor sport of sand drag racing consists of race cars that are very similar to their asphalt drag racing counterparts racing down 300 feet long (100 yard) tracks with a sand/dirt surface. The headliners of the show are the Nitro-burning Top Fuel dragsters that cross the finish line in under 2.5 seconds and reach speeds in excess of 160 MPH. Although the Top Fuel cars are the headliners of the show, multitudes of grass roots bracket racers compile the largest racer group in the sand. NSDN focuses on the hottest properties in sand drag racing, including coverage of the Pro Truck Nationals (PTN) series and other large independent events. Other large independent races across the country are also covered. NSDN covers these events with live race updates, race results, news, features, race videos, and photos. https://nsdn.us/index.php 2024-07-16T02:54:54+00:00 National Sand Drag News editor@nsdn.us Joomla! - Open Source Content Management WMSD Memorial Weekend 2013 Race Results 2013-05-25T10:53:51+00:00 2013-05-25T10:53:51+00:00 https://nsdn.us/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=714&catid=93&Itemid=41 Administrator editor@nsdn.us West Michigan Sand Dragway - Mears, MI
May 24-25, 2013 Race Results

Saturday

Top Fuel
1st-Brian Ambs
2nd-Scott Scheytt
3rd-Brian McWethy
Top Fuel Eliminations Run Sheet & Qualifying Data Log
Top Fuel Qualifying & Eliminations Highlight Video

West Michigan Sand Dragway - Mears, MI
May 24-25, 2013 Race Results

Saturday

Top Fuel
1st-Brian Ambs
2nd-Scott Scheytt
3rd-Brian McWethy
Top Fuel Eliminations Run Sheet & Qualifying Data Log
Top Fuel Qualifying & Eliminations Highlight Video

Atoka Heartland Nationals 2013 Race Results 2013-05-25T10:54:52+00:00 2013-05-25T10:54:52+00:00 https://nsdn.us/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=715&catid=93&Itemid=41 Administrator editor@nsdn.us Atoka Motorsports Park - Atoka, OK
Heartland Nationals - May 24-26 Race Results

Sunday

Top Alcohol
1st-Rod Trower
2nd-Marc Luce *New Track Record Holder 2.592*
Top Alcohol Eliminations Run Sheet & Qualifying Data Log

Top Eliminator
1st-Terry Glasscock
2nd-Dee Trower
3rd-Kenny Kapple
Top Eliminator Eliminations Run Sheet & Qualifying Data Log

Atoka Motorsports Park - Atoka, OK
Heartland Nationals - May 24-26 Race Results

Sunday

Top Alcohol
1st-Rod Trower
2nd-Marc Luce *New Track Record Holder 2.592*
Top Alcohol Eliminations Run Sheet & Qualifying Data Log

Top Eliminator
1st-Terry Glasscock
2nd-Dee Trower
3rd-Kenny Kapple
Top Eliminator Eliminations Run Sheet & Qualifying Data Log

Editor's Notes | May '13 2013-05-23T11:35:47+00:00 2013-05-23T11:35:47+00:00 https://nsdn.us/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=713&catid=93&Itemid=41 Administrator editor@nsdn.us BY: TOM BRAY

The sand drag world has been busy over the first part of the 2013 season, as evidenced by my absence from this column the last couple of months. West coast racers had a great choice of events to hit with five races from the end of January through the end of April. Obviously with the Summer heat, they will take a few months off and get back at it in early October. The final two west coast points races will be action packed with racers vying for both the NSRA & SCSDA series championships. NSDN will be there covering all angles.

BY: TOM BRAY

The sand drag world has been busy over the first part of the 2013 season, as evidenced by my absence from this column the last couple of months.
