Atoka Sand Drags completed their first race of the 2008 season on March 15. Lee Lynam & Joyce Risher brought out the new "Straightwinder", formerly “Sidewinder" Top Alcohol car. They just wanted a tune up pass and get it down the track. Joyce ran a conservative 3.10 @ 109 mph pass before loading it up and heading back to Texas. Low E.T for Pro 1 Cars Derek Howard 3.34 @ 103 mph. Also in attendance was “Wild Willie” Bill Swim, who made it to the semi-final round in the Pro 1 Money class. Results are listed below:
