The NSDA
Primm Valley Resorts Fall Nationals once again lived up to its billing as the
largest sand drag racing event of the season. More than five hundred entries
competed for the prestigious Primm event victories. As usual, there was exceptional
racing action. Let’s take a look through photos at the weekend’s top performers

Tim Martin had a huge weekend; winning both TE class races and taking the 2008 NSDA TE Championship.
Dennis Rieck swept both TF races on the weekend and recorded the quickest ET in the history of the sport with a 2.225.
Despite this nasty engine explosion on Sunday, Scott Whipple had a great weekend locking up the 2008 NSDA TF Championship and taking the ET record back with a 2.318.
Dan Allen debuted his new dragster in Primm and promptly set low ET of the weekend with a 2.46 and won the second TA race of the weekend.
2008 NSDA Pro 3 Champion Charlie Johnson got out of shape on this pass on Sunday and ended up going for a nasty tumble just past the finish line. Fortunately, Charlie's safety equipment allowed him to walk away without injury.
Bob Gill debuted this beautiful new Jeep body on his Altered in the TE class at Primm.
Nick Januik laid down some hugely impressive numbers in his front engine TAD and turned a best of 2.604.
Jim Hammond debuted the new "April's Dream" Top Alcohol Dragster at Primm.
Donnie Burns with a great wheels up launch took home the Pro 2 victory on Sunday.
The Gill Bettencourt Motorsports team debuted at Primm with driver Geoff Gill recording a best of 2.47 on the weekend.
The Packard team showed up for the ATV Heads Up classes and took home the ATV HU 1 class win.
Despite this close call with the K-Rail, Buddy Hammett made his trip from MI pay off with a win in MC Pro 1 on Friday.
