

The weekend's big winner was Courtney Stidham, making the drive from Texas pay off with the TE class win and $3500 first place payout.

Pat Goodale took the Top Alcohol class win back to Michigan with the Ted Lirones-tuned Crude Awakening Dragster.

Rod Trower had some struggles with his Thunder TA Dragster, but managed the runner-up spot in the class. A huge thanks goes out to Rod and Dee for all that they put into the Heartland Nationals every year.

Karen Hauser broke into the 2 second zone with a 2.99 in round one of eliminations with "The Driving Force", however eventual winner Stidham would advance past her in round two.

The Ratliff's made the trip from Palm Desert, CA to compete in the Quad classes at Atoka. Garrett, Mark, and Austin all put up a good showing throughout the weekend.

Scott Carroll came close to the TA track record in qualifying, running a 2.73 for the #1 spot, however a red light would put him out in round one on Sunday.

Lori Goodale topped the ultra competitive Top Eliminator class in qualifying, running a great 2.957.

Burt VanBennekom was another of the Michigan entries; he would make it to round two of TE before losing an extremely close race by .006 to eventual runner-up Jeff Sieg.

Atoka local Robert Smith put on a great show, holding the #1 qualifying spot in TE after day one with a 2.97 and ending up in the #2 spot after qualifying with his Blown SBC-powered Dragster.

Kirk Whitlow with his great looking Quad went rounds in the ultra competitive Quads class action over the weekend.
