Matthew Ludlow & the Coldwater Kid Team emerged victorious in the Top Fuel Shootout, running Low ET of the weekend in the final round with a sizzling 2.308.
Marcus Norris & the Pat Norris Racing Team had an excellent showing at Dome Valley resulting in a runner-up finish as well as a personal best ET of 2.48 on the weekend.
Dennis Rieck's Hammer Down Small Block Fueler just missed the top qualifying spot by .002 with a 2.394. Dennis' weekend would come to an early end in round one when a freak parts issue shut him off at the hit.
Gary Mink (Near Lane) out distanced the Top Alcohol class, setting a new World Record with a 2.369 blast in a final round victory over Scott Carroll.
Carey Mahoney showed them how it's done in the Pro Outlaw FE class. Carey not only took the win, but ran Low ET of the weekend in the class with a 2.824 in the final round.
Brian Chapman & his Charlie Starns-led Short Fuse team kept up their hot hand in the Fast Fours class taking the win with a streak of 2.8 second blasts in qualifying and eliminations.
Billy Morris & the 2 Dolla' Bill Team waded their way through a tough Top Eliminator class to take home a huge victory to start off 2011.
Art Cronin put up an excellent showing in the Fast Fours class, netting a runner-up finish as well as Low ET of the class with a 2.82.
Steve Foster going for a wild ride in Pro 1 action on Sunday. Steve laid down impressive numbers all weekend long in the low 3.4 second range.
John Edwards is making progress in sorting out his new Turbocharged 3-Wheeler. Look for great things out of this machine in 2011.
The team of Jim DePasse & Otis Simpson put up a great effort in Pro Outlaw FE action, running a personal best 2.999 in round one of eliminations before parts breakage put them out for the weekend.
Al McKinney was extremely impressive all weekend long with his wild Blown rear-engine Jeep. Al ran in the high 3.2 range all weekend long & drove to a runner-up finish in Pro 1 on Sunday.
