PTN Championship Weekend 2014 at Little Sandy Raceway in Grayson, KY was full of great action on Saturday from start to finish. The big story of the weekend was Blake Cole backing up his Friday night Pro Shootout win by completing a clean sweep as he again qualified #1 and won the Pro Truck class. This was Blake’s first weekend in his newly acquired Jeep that ran consistent ET’s en route to a final round victory over Jeff Banks. Jason Thompson also completed a sweep as he not only won the PTN 3.95 Index Pro ATV class, but also the 2014 class championship. Kathy Ellington was the big winner in Pro Outlaw recording a 2.62 200’ pass in the final round for the win over Ryan Wilson. Trey Williams was a multi-class winner for Madd Draggin’ Racing in the PSDA classes as he took the Twin Open Unlimited & Twin 650+ Limited classes. Other winners included Joey Cisco (PSDA Three-Cylinder Limited), Terrell Allen (PSDA Twin 0-650+ Limited), Rodney Upchurch (Pro Cars), Chris Followay (Pro ATV), Matt Randolph (Sportsman Car), Tex Andy English (Sportsman ATV), Bryson Turner (Junior ATV), and Drew Epling (Peewees). **RUN SHEETS and FINAL ROUND VIDEOS are now posted**

PTN Championship Weekend 2014 at Little Sandy Raceway in Grayson, KY was full of great racing all day long from Test and Tune all the way through the night’s eliminations. The PTN 3.5 Index class saw a big time battle between the Steele Wilson Connection Racing team entries of Ben Steele and Ryan Wilson. Ben was on his game on this night taking the win 3.57 to 3.59 in the all-Altered final round. Blake Cole was the story of the night, though, as in the first race with his newly acquired Jeep he qualified #1 and went on to win the Pro Shootout defeating 2012 PTN Pro Truck champion Kyle Harney in the final round. This gives Blake the day one points lead in the hunt for the 2014 PTN Pro Truck championship. Eddie Epling won one for the ATV’s as he defeated Kris Johnson’s Jeep in the Ironman class final round. Jerid Maddix ran a nearly dead-on 3.951 to take the top qualifying position so far in PTN 3.95 Index Pro ATV Qualifying. Steph Bennett leads the PSDA Three-Cylinder Limited & Unlimited classes in Qualifying after Day 1 while MDR Racing leads the pack in the PSDA Twin Open, Twin 650+, and 0-650 categories. Racing wraps up on Saturday with final eliminations in the rest of the PTN, PSDA, and local classes.

PTN is presenting the only Pro Truck class in the Midwest in 2014 at this event, as well as crowning a champion over two nights of racing action. There will also be a champion crowned in the ultra competitive Proformance Prototypes PTN 3.95 Index Pro ATV category.
